The feels I got was not from gameplay dynamics... It had to do with the character's degrading and eventual growth. You chose a bad example to portray how you got those feels - I can't ever remember tearing through people's homes and killing innocents.

You didn't kill the innocents directly yourself but your actions led to their deaths all the same. And those parts in the gameplay tied into Max's ever growing self-loathing and disregard for life
