Gamer Confessions..

Mechwarrior 3 was amazing.
I love COD for all the wrong reasons.
I dislike most triple A titles cos they do everything wrong.
I can't play a game until I've played it's predecessor. This is why I will never be able to catch up on Final Fantasy, Bioshock, AC, Hitman etc

I've also missed out o most game series
I don't enjoy very many games.
I hate C&C. Why all that micro managing.

I really dislike achievements and that nagging feeling they give you when you only have like 96% of them.
 
Gaming confessions:

I love gaming so much, that I sit and stare at my Steam library, trying to choose a game, then I can't choose one and end up playing Minesweeper instead while watching a series.

I hate Dota, and any MOBA for that matter

I hate MMORPG's

I hate Pokemon...(that may make me a bad geek)

I still play Croc 2 sometimes, because it's such a cute game

I play most, okay fine, ALL single player games on easy

I've spent more time creating maps in Age of Empires than actually playing it

I have never played any Final Fantasy game

I have never played any Legend of Zelda game

I sometimes play Skyrim like I would if I actually lived there, for example I would wake up the morning, eat, go hunting, sell what I hunted, buy food with that money, eat again and go to sleep.
 
I'll drop confessions as it comes up.
Here's my first.

I'm missing out on all Hitman games because I want to play the previous ones first.
And that won't happen coz I stopped playing Hitman 2 because it was too difficult for some reason.
And I prolly won't go back to it now since somehow it's weird to go back to old games >.<

I hate almost any turn-based game (Civ 5 being an exception).
Although I generally love First Person shooters I hate most of them that have a military theme (odd I know). Oh and I very much hate any of them when trying to play with a controller.
I've replayed Far Cry 3 around 4 times now, the Last of Us three times and quite a few older games more then I've played a lot of newer games (well to confess...I don't finish a lot of the newer games because I just lose interest).

I loved Diablo II, I love Path of Exile and I even love the bits of Grim Dawn that I've played however I just can't get into Torchlight 2 even though I played through the original and quite enjoyed it.

I still play SSX 3 however I play in on my PC (thank you PCSX2...damn you PS2 for dying on me) and I enjoy it more than the newest SSX (still fun, sure) that was released on PS3 (something about a 30 minute run down the mountain that still thrills me!).

Okay last one for now - I like scantily-clad female characters in my games...
 
I always play females in any game where I have a choice but I HATE it with a passion when they are scantily clad.

Loving the secrets coming out. Some of mine:

I hate free to play games. I feel uneasy while playing them knowing at some point they going to pop up and ask for money. I would rather pay for a game first, then play it.

I do not play games to 100% ever hardly. I will play the main story line to the end and stop there. I wont go collect all 12000 gems hidden in the trees or play the game again this time not using my weapon or something to make it more difficult.

I actually enjoy minecraft, but not really for any of the usual reasons. I find it relaxes me by just digging down low and digging in a straight line. Putting chilled music on and that gentle 'tick, tick, tick' of the pickaxe breaking blocks.

I hate most multiplayer games where you talk to the other players because I play with speakers, not headphones, and dont appreciate people screaming and swearing with the sound running through my house so my family can hear it. eg, Dayz

Oh, I started playing sims3 after my gf played it and was really into it and had 6 people that I was successfully juggling their jobs and personal lives and then I got more people and sims told me I can only have 7 people. Was so annoyed at how well I was handling them and now I couldnt have more, uninstalled the game there and then. Havn't played since

***OFF TOPIC

Good use of grammar there, please everyone do note the "ARE" because it's true they are awesome still to this day, no one believes in the mech genre of games, Shogun: Mobile Armour was another gem well over looked. I believe they killed Mechwarrior off with MWO. I just wish they had continued the Starsiege Tribes series, perhaps they will someday with Tribes being a F2P online game. Hawken is okay for a online FPS Mech game but, it is just too grindy to get into a game with equal footing (hence why I dont play anymore).

- 2D side scrollers (sorry mario)
- MMORPGs (excluding MMOFPSs)
- Racing games

I enjoy:
- hunting game achievements :o

I've never played:
- Minecraft, actually.. any online "crafting" games :p

I tend to lose interest in games very quickly
I mainly play online games to play with friends
I haven't played any of the COD SP scenarios since COD 4 (I own most of the CODs after COD4)
I hated Dota with a passion (not anymore)

That's nothing. I've created totally NEW swear words when playing games :P
 
I only play 1 game ..... every other game sucks (until Elder Scrolls Online comes out)
I think people who play games like Dota and LoL are dense because there is no skill involved
I think people who play MW and CoD are silly kiddies who need a jab to the piehole

I (also) swear constantly when playing games and I tend to lose my temper pretty quickly, that's when the swearing really goes wild.
I have also broken a selection of controllers, keyboards, headphones, etc. during extreme moments of gamer rage.
If a game frustrates me too much for too long, I will reach a breaking point and trade the game in (or uninstall it if on PC) and vow to never touch it again.
I bought Sims 3 on console, on release. Played for about 3 to 4 hours before getting bored and trading it in.
I did not enjoy any of the Resident Evil or Silent Hill games.

I've broken two controller, a keyboard, one mouse actually went out of the window, and I broke my friend's nose (but that was while playing Wii Tennis and I got carried away...)
 
Wow, seems like you guys have some serious anger issues.. I very rarely swear when gaming, I do get a little pissed when players intentionally ruin online games though. Otherwise I just tend to either get a serious headache put the game down and never touch it again lol.
Anyone else get headaches? Must be that my brain CPU is working too hard and cant compute :p
 
Since i got PS+ a while ago i don't try to complete games 100% anymore.
I only play a game once, no matter how many achievements i can get by playing it again.
I don't play games on easy, it just feels wrong.
I know i will never play all of my steam games that i have.
I buy puzzle games for my wife on steam,(she hardly plays them) so that i don't feel so guilty about playing so much games :)
 
Thought Skyrim was one of the blandest games I have every played. The combat is very out of date. I hate what they've done to the series. Don't even get me started on the bugs.
