Gamer Confessions..

-I've never liked any of the TES games except for Morrowing
-I hate LoL and Dota
-I despise Minecraft
-I have never owned or played on an N64
-I never played Diablo 2
 
I didn't like Doom 3 at all. I basically forced myself to finish it, and that's something I promised myself I would never do again. If I don't enjoy a game I just stop playing it.

The graphics were a huge disappointment to me; the textures were just plain bad, and Doom 1 and 2 are still WAY more fun. Doom 3 was where I stopped caring about id, where previously I was a embarrassingly huge fanboy.

Doom 1 and 2 are actually more fun than a lot of new games. Especially with brutal doom mod.
 
I have never owned a console. Not even a famicom. Closest I ever came to owning one was having one of these as a child:

And that's the thing for me, elder scrolls seem to be becoming more a half finished game with very little innovation on release. I hate paying a full price for a game that's almost become expected the community will finish/improve on. I just want a game that I can play and enjoy out of the box. I will download mods to extend the playability of a game. Morrowind was awesome, you could fly!, why can't you fly any more?.

And the shouts were just retarded, they might as well have just been normal spells.
 
Confession #2:
F.E.A.R broke me.... although I finished it and loved it plus finished all expansions except Perseus Mandate(coz I found out F.E.A.R 2 will ditch everything that happened in the expansions)
Up until today I still haven't finished F.E.A.R 2(after a few minutes of play I get a too tense and quit) and of course anything else that followed.
 
I have never played Call of Duty and I don't intend to. The last and only Battlefield game I have played was Battlefield 2 and I disliked it. Although i have over 300 hours of logged playing time on Counter Strike and a very similar number for CS:GO

I dislike Quake, especially Quake 3, but I enjoy Unreal Tournament.

I disliked Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider 2, Tomb Raider 3 and only played Tomb Raider again when Legend was released and loved it.

I have bought and own more games than I care to admit openly even on a forum
 
I used the boobie mod on oblivion :p And killed females of all races and removed their armour to reveal boobs.. Ah psychopathic sexually frustrated teenage years..
And as engrossing with lore the elder scrolls had.. I never really felt a part of or immersed in the game world.. might be the silent protagonist dilemma..

I really like UT3 even with bots.

I don't cope well with "scary" games. Bioshock is OK. Fear was a bit too much. Already on edge 24/7 so I try to give the wild stuff a miss.

I dislike 1vs1 MP. It just stresses me out.

I'm OK with a crap k/d as long as I feel it is justified. e.g. I intentionally selected a "difficult" weapon.

+1 The TF2 bow is quite challenging too - as in properly difficult. See also previous point.

Above all I seriously miss LANs at someones house. LEGENDARY times those. :( x billion. The interwebs killed that. And no don't tell me RAGE etc.

Reminds me of when I was a teenager and lighting fried my PC. A colleague of my dad who built PCs in his spare time was asked to salvage whatever he could from mine and replace that which couldn't be saved. Problem: I had the original Tomb Raider installed together with the "nude patch" (go google it, look for the most blocky images you can find, that's it). So when I went to collect my mostly brand new PC he started shitting on my head because of the patch and how I'm some sort of pervert. I almost crapped myself. Then he started laughing, offered me a beer and asked if I can get the installs for him since just copying it didn't work.

Re: scary games - I'm currently busy with Alan Wake and as much as I HATE running around dark forests with only a flashlight and a pistol with waves of ghostly hunters jumping out behind trees, I'm strangely compelled by the game. I had to quit playing it for a couple of months, because it disturbed me. It's the first scary game I've played since the first FEAR.
 
I'm surprised nobody has said pressing F in SkiFree to outrun that damn Yeti. I still hate him, even with the F cheat he chases you
