Gamer girlfriends - how to get one

The only game I've got that my wife has enjoyed is guitar hero, although there was some initial interest in the wii as well

I actually prefer it if my gf doesn't game, imagine wanting to take her somewhere special and all she wants to do is defeat Zeus on Titan in God of War 3!! Not cool, I like our differences. It makes the relationship more special, we accept each other's passions and leave it at that. And if she wants to go out and do something then I'm there is a flash, because I know I can jam tonight while she's sleeping :)!

I'd actually just steer clear of a gamer gf, lets be honest, gaming WILL take a backseat when a gf is int he picture, not saying you wont be able to play but often you'll find "other" things far more worthwhile :)

ALso, not everyone games for the same reason. Some play it for the competitive side of things, other play Wii Tennies etc. :D

My wife plays WoW. I refuse to take her raiding or PvP'ing, mostly because I wouldn't like the fights that could potentially start from it.

If she ever intends to pvp or raid (which I'm sure she doesn't), she will do so on her own time and in her own groups.
 
I had a gamer girlfriend once.

It's fucking terrible. She wouldn't let me get any if I beat her badly. There was some games she was amazing at. Totally destroyed me. I tried pulling that shit off on her (didn't let her get any). Didn't work as well.
