Gamers discover and abuse invincibility glitch in Battlefield 3

It's a big game dude. In fact, it's a fscking HUGE game.

In general, to all the moaners:

There will still be bugs. And DICE is patching it, already. So everyone stay the hell calm, support the game and the developer through it's fetal stages and stop moaning and groaning. Be happy that you have the privilege to game, first of all, and then secondly, be happy that they MADE this game (yes, not you) and that you're able to play and enjoy it.

fetal stages? xD lol oom Tooken smoking some strong shit xD
EA and DICE are HUGE and they have been around for a long time...They should have fixed a heck of a lot more than they claimed they did.

Anyway, the game was spoiled for me with the shit lag on the 64 player maps, then the issue this morning again with the stats ect ect.

MW3 next week :D

Fail.

I don't just be happy because someone was able to make an IP and because of that we must sing their angelic praises. Any dev house that thinks like this and player has a seriously rotten attitude and problem towards to rest of us and is taking us for granted. By same logic you MUST just be glad with anything because you are able to have it without the possible to hold them to account. Stinks to me of some serious misplaced idolship and fanboism.

Next time don't come talk kak when they push BF4/MW4 at even higher price with ever bugier code because we just have to eatup their shit and be content. We might as well go back to the dark ages of telkom charging us insane pricing on dailup because we MUST just be happy we actually have modems.

:edit
Fetal stages is alpha/beta build not your public users. Seems you guys got flagshipped ;)

First of all, stop talking kak bru.

The game just launched, and it's not like DICE isn't being transparent about the issues. We know what they are and they're working on it. Unlike many other developers. Most of the battlefield fans know this and they are still having fun, regardless. We are still reporting bugs and errors, so it's not like we're taking it up the ass either.

It would have been FINE to hold them accountable and bitch like a grandmother with a wet panty if they WEREN'T working hard to fix the issues. Even with the occasional rubberbanding and MINOR issues, we've been having more fun with this game than any other before it.

/hands Joker a bag of that shit I'm smoking

I know they're huge and should probably have fixed a lot more than they did, but to be honest there's pretty much little to none "gamebreaking" glitches in the gme. Besides Tehran highway which lags like a motherfather! Apparently it's a punkbuster issue, which is being fixed. The ATI and Nvidia drivers could use some work, but I hardly see that as DICE's fault.

I used a glitch in Minesweeper. In minesweeper for win95, if you hover your mouse over the ex button, and you click it really quick, your game closes before you lose, which means you actually win.

The problem is, some of these issues were present in the beta. If you don't have time to fix them before release, move your damn release back a few days. It was just too important for them to get this out way before MW3.

please don't confuse yourself with me.

Sigh "the just out" excuse. When will we see products that works properly on release, that is properly optimised. Even worse example is Rage. The end users isn't suppose to do your job for your as a dev house, period. This seems more and more like a rushed out job just to be out before MW3 to scoop more players.

What are you doing with your grandmothers panties ?

Please wipe that the mouth too.

Pass the buck please.

Exactly, once again corporate greed and numbers win.

I'm sorry dude, but I'm not going to get in an argument with people that lost the meaning of the word "fun" somewhere along the lines, not to mention mature responses. I'm playing this game and enjoying it, so I really don't care about the politics anymore.

And why don't you go remove that big ol' plank from your eye first, bud.

First ever game I remember cheating was using the key combination MLI. In multiplayer Jedi knight had a nasty bug for the darkside where you could easily rush kill your opponent in seconds by just doing multiple quick force throws in succession...

I'm sorry too. It's people like you that's *just* content with anything given to them in any state.

Um, not really dude. The game has been pretty damn playable and nonsense free thus far. Been having bags of fun and it's pretty much exactly what I wanted to it to be. I'm keenly awaiting the bugs to be fixed, just like everyone else, but I'm DEFINITELY NOT going to cry about it. I've had enough of politics and bullshit in gaming. I just want to game to have fun. If you don't like the game, go play something else. That's the end of it. Simple and easy and it works for everyone.

If there's a glitch, someone somewhere will exploit it. Sad reality.

Also, Pr⊕phet, you're getting way too aggro on this. Calm down a bit, bud.

Skyrim is my most anticipated title of 2011, if not the last 5 years. If it releases with some glaringly awful bugs, I'm going to throw my toys out of the cot. I'm not going to sit and make excuses as to why it's okay.

I Agree bro, i think they were being pressed by pre orders to release the game. And if there's one thing i hate it's a buggy laggy game. Hopefully MW3 learns from this and launches a more polished off game. Not like CODBLOPS which were guilty of the same "rushed job" when they launched. Only time will tell.

The issue is, some bugs will slip under the radar, but things like laggy servers are a major issue that DICE has been aware of since beta. It makes certain servers unplayable. This really shouldn't have made it into the final game, but due to the fact that they made a set release date almost as soon as they announced the game, there was nothing they could do.

That's one of the reasons I take no issue with the way Blizzard handles release dates. They don't try and set a release date and then realize they're going to release with a bunch of bugs. They make sure the game works almost flawlessly before even deciding on a release date, and then they simply spend the rest of the time polishing it up. That's how you release a game. Not simply for the sake of beating the competition.

With all due respect dude, the servers are not laggy.... Don't know about the rest of the guys, but iGame's server has been nothing less than brilliant so far, except for the worldwide lag issue on two of the maps. It's a known issue and it's not being ignored. I know it sucks that it wasn't perfect from launch day, but shit happens. It will be fixed soon, maybe even tonight. We'll see.

There's a difference between people glitching in multiplayer games and a godawful buggy game though.
