Games That Made You Cry or Emotional or Sad

I played To The Moon some time ago and it hit me so damn hard in the feels. I don't really cry (ie sniveling and nose running, wet cheeks), but my eyes will tear up when something nice or sad happens (in a game, movie, etc.). To The Moon did that to me.

I also watched gameplay for The Last of Us (because I don't have PS and will most likely never play it). The scene/part

right in the beginning of the game also broke me.

Bioshock: Infinite also toyed with my emotions a little bit.

Dark Souls has also made me emotional, but that isn't what I'm going for in this thread :)

What games have you guys played that made you emotional/sad/cry?
 
Yep, pretty much To the Moon. Probably one of the saddest moments in gaming.

They all have a special place in my heart.
 
The Last of Us had me balling my eyes out, numerous times. I was an emotional wreck after that.

Dark Souls 1 - that whole storyline between Artorias and Sif, that had me tear up.



But with regards to TLoU, I was literally distraught after that game. For a time I stopped playing it cos I could feel the path it was going, forced myself to finish it and I was blown away. I literally couldn't play any other game for a month after that. Nothing seemed to fill the gap or nothing felt satisfying enough to continue playing. The game and story is a true masterpiece and a work of art, I would advise anyone and everyone to play it.

Also agree with Dark Souls Sif story - I killed him and kept his soul in my inventory as a good luck charm and I still have it.

Everyone keeps suggesting Witcher 3...might need to get it...

I don't want to finish Heavy Rain...but I probably will tomorrow...but I am not a crier however that might change...it could be a first

I cried tears of joy after playing Life is Strange because it was over...last time I take recommendations from a certain family member and thank god I only paid $5 for it on a Steam sale...next time I will get a tooth pulled without anesthesia and cry for real
