Games that never made it that you wanted

What game were you looking forward to that was started and then abandoned or never finished or just scrapped.

I for one was looking forward to this

Star Ward 1313 would have been something I would have become a hermit in order to lay till completion. Now it is gone forever:confused:
 
MediEvil 3, Star Wars 1313, That Indiana Jones game that was using that new engine, round about 2009 when they cancelled it.
 
There was a leaked SC: Ghost gameplay video floating around a few years back. TBH, it looked awful and I understand why Blizzard canned the project.

This one I think. Was supposed to launch for the PS3 and 360. It used a version of the Euphoria engine, similar to The Force Unleashed. It was looking to be really good, the press were liking it, but then it got cancelled and they released a random Wii and PS2 version instead. There isn't much info about it.

Command & Conquer: Renegade 2

Command & Conquer: Renegade 2 was to be another first-person shooter game using an updated version of the "Westwood 3D" engine, used in Command & Conquer: Renegade. Renegade 2 had two build versions: The first version of Renegade 2, was drafted as a connection to Command & Conquer from Red Alert 2. However, this was scrapped in favour of a Red Alert 2 based FPS that took place in the post Yuri's Revenge world. The storyline was about a rogue Soviet commander attacking America to avenge the honour of Premier Romanov (the commander was a Romanov). Most units designed were based on Red Alert 2 styles, however the Allied Light Tank and Soviet Hind Gunship were included, units which only appeared in Red Alert.

Renegade one was a bit of a guilty pleasure was excited about this but alas.

Soul Reaver 3 would have been amazing...hopefully in that iteration gameplay wouldn't be sacrificed for that impeccable story.
 
Yeah games wanted can also be posted here. And i would have loved a soul reaver 3 too

Also another Carmageddon game would be awesome :D

I still have no 2, and skipped Windows 8 purely because I could not run it on that OS.

Yes I was a huge JO fan back in the day, and use to sink at least 6 hours a night fighting wars every night. Nothing makes you feel like fighting real wars than a 150 person server with maps up to 64 square KM in size. None of the BF4 crap with their mini maps.
 
I want Vanquish 2 :cry:

I hadn't even heard about it until I saw it on special at BT, picked it up and now it's one of my fav games.

I would love another Enslaved: Odyssey to the West as well, that game was amazing.

Both of those games are great but also highly underrated. Sadly the commercial interest in those titles wasn't high enough to pique a publishers involvement in sequels. It would be something that would take great advantage of next gen technology were it ever to happen.
