Games to play in the office

So we all have those days where we're just acting very busy, but in reality we can't wait for the time to pass so we can go home? Well, here's a few games you can play to pass the time while the boss isn't looking.

It's bomberman, in multiplayer. It's plenty fun for a few minutes of hectic action.

A text-based game of resource gathering and village building. The nice thing is you can leave it open in the background and only check on it every few minutes, if you want. It also remembers your progress, so unless you clear your cookies you can just continue where you left off later.

For the sake of making it easier to work through, only post games that you found good so that people don't end up wasting time on games that aren't fun.

@Eugene, I can see how powder is going to become an instant hit. I've been messing around with it almost non-stop since you posted it. :D

Here's another one. The absolute best the text adventure genre has to offer;

Zork!

Man, I loved this game back in the day. Just stay out of the dark areas. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

I used to play pokemon on emulator on my flash drive. Also travian but then I ended up playing that at home as well, waking up at 4 to send my armies out on raids. No thats just plain dangerous.

Yeah, I gave up on those real-time browser strategy games like Travian and Evony. Inevitably you're going to come short if you don't spend real money on the games. I remember in Travian I started on a new world and cities that started long after me slaughtered me because they were spending gold to upgrade.

Ikarium was a nice one, though. Minimal P2W, but it was also a lot slower paced than Travian.

I used to play tribal wars, but like czc said, once you set your alarm to wake up several times during the night to build/attack you have got a problem. I stopped playing by giving my villages away. It's just too addictive!

games not to play at the office is better ><

This and the fact that in an open plan office it just ain't going to happen.

Edit: I like some of the games I have seen in here which aren't bad for whiling away a few minutes at home :)
