a 3rd person PC game that was released pre 1995 and has 2D graphics...

I think its time for a clue, its been more than 10 questions already
 
I'm just wondering if 3rd person means over-the-shoulder specifically, or if it could include any view, such as birds eye view...

Yup that's what I was thinking, but we can rule out Police quest already :P

But also I would'nt call those 3rd person games, they are played more "Top down"
 
Well, by definition third person is "outside" the character. So top-down view probably also qualifies...
