I wish, I really wanted it but it was out of my budget completely. I got the Affinity High Back Chair

They're the exact same price. So you would recommend the Flex over the one you currently have?
 
Weirdly the one i have I have gotten used to, its just not material but the fake stuff, so in summer it gets a bit warm. I think I would have taken the ergo flex if I could have back then (It was over R2k when I was looking)

The one I have is very comfy - you know I game for 3-4 hours at a time and no issues. I love it now. I do sit on an extra pillow tho - but its more to get the height right for me - I am very short and always had issues with chairs at work and at home - I need one of those patio pillows to give me the little bit of height that I need.
 
Cool guys. Thanks for the feedback it is all appreciated and will be taken into consideration. Will post again when I make the purchase, what I got and then feedback on how much I hate it.

YES! Crap, sorry about that. OK, so my boss subsidized 50% of my office chair purchase to a fixed amount, and i ended up going with the macdaddy one...the Estello Genuine Leather High Back Chair (it was on a special at the time :D)

So far I am SUPER impressed with the build quality..this steel is HEAVY and you know its gonna last ages (was my concern over genuine leather...what use is leather that lasts ages if the rest of the chair will break over time). Was easy enough to assemble, and its comfortable as fuck.

One thing to note tho, it might not be for short people. As a tall guy at its lowest setting i sit comfortably, my gf is a diff story, so keep that in mind (i'm 195cm).

Its got great lower back support without pressing hard into my back. Certainly dont regret my purchase :)

Mmm okay interesting! I am still keen on getting a gaming chair. I might be the first to take the leap and be the guinea pig!

Makro tends to be very good with their warranties. Almost everything has a 1 year warranty by default unless otherwise stated and certain items (like TVs) you can get an extended 5 year warranty. Do you have one of these? Currently looking to buy a new chair and am deciding between this one and the previously recommended Ergo flex. Will most likely head out this week to try them out.


I see the basic X rocker chair is on sale here, but that probably wouldn't work as it's really low down judging from the image.

Naa, I have one of the KODA chairs, if the Koda is anything to go by the Daytona should be perfect.
 
Yeah with my height i didn't even look at anything that wasn't high back :p

That Santorini looks like it could breathe quite nicely, especially if you're a bit heavier and tend to swear more.
