Best download as many digital purchases as you can before April

I have the same feeling. Don't know how they gonna enforce the new tax laws on companies or are they gonna come after the buyer. So will refrain from shopping online till this point is clear.

An international retailer needs to acquire a South African VAT number. They will charge you more and pay the 14% to SARS. If they don't register, they can't legally do business in SA.

At least, that's what I thought. Then I read this in the original article:
In terms of the regulations, the VAT will apply to any supplier of electronic services from an “export country” to any resident in South Africa, or where payment is made from a local bank.

I'm not sure if that last part means the bank will hit you with the VAT rather than the e-tailer. Probably best to just watch and see how things are going to go down.

Time to confess: Anyone go for the Superpower Sims Bundle?

I did when it was on Xmas special ($2.99) and when the ZAR vs US$ where better.Air conflics, GT Legends and GTR was well worth it.

Don't know if I would do so now.

@ AlphaJohn

I think you're talking about a different bundle because those games aren't in this one:
The Superpower Sims Bundle

Pay $3.91 for these 8 Simulator Steam games:

Agricultural Simulator: Historical Farming
Airport Simulator 2014
Bridge It (plus)
Dogfight 1942
Lunar Flight
Ship Simulator Extremes
Skyscraper Simulator
Woodcutter Simulator 2013 Gold Edition

Oh sorry, well it's technically not my fault - I took that straight from the MyGaming Article so they made an error with the name

Oddly I saw no one mentioning

Takedown for $1.49 on Steam 90% off
SPECIAL PROMOTION! Offer ends 17 February

Its not even featured on the Steam sales page.

Edit: Guess the low Metacritic score has something to do with it?
