Gaming hardware you shouldn't buy

branded gaming ram, SO much better than other hi-end ram, :)
maybe the glove, then I'll have less calluses...

I have 1600 RAM in my PC and I have tested it against 1333 RAM. In games it makes absolutely 0 difference. So it's not only gaming components that are the culprits either. "High-performance" components often don't do much either. Although, I wouldn't mind the Tron-light keyboard :) I like pretty lights :P

Lol, at the stuff, more than half of which i would stay away from without reading the article. As for gaming ram, there is no difference in the lower end of the market, and if you just buying it for the name you not going to get anywhere. You need to check the latencies on the memory thats where the performance lays.

yea agree'd, you dont see much of a performance increase with gaming ram, you are lucky if you see 1 or 2 fps increase. I personally always just buy value ram and it works great but then again i never OC my stuff.

How badly do I NOT want that glove! Ha ha. That is just crazy.

And to think that people actually do buy things like that...

Haha... that gaming glove reminds me of a "macro helper glove" i saw a year ago... they said its a must have for any serious gamer that has a problem reaching that extra key he needs...

That aside, I have actually seen some young kid wearing one of these gloves at a lan... it made me cry inside... of laughter...

You know what they say, there is a sucker born every minute. We used to have a gaming mouse similar to that Zalman PoS where I work, that thing never sold. It looked like the infrared guns from the arcade machines (actually cool) but it was a deskbound gun shaped mouse. What a load of crap lol. I could never imagine something so uncomfortable as that.

The horror! Hahaha. At least the glove is better than that "ambient light" nonsense. What the heck? I am sure that is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Something about seizures and the like.

But hey, play a fast paced FPS, put on some loud music and you have yourself a disco!

I've often wondered why the branded gear (Battlefield 3) is always on crappy hardware, never on the good stuff?
I 2nd that. Looks like the Razer Imperator with the BF3 branding. Often when my PC comes out of hibernation, my Imperator sensor is all over the place for several minutes. Works fine on my laptop tho. Time to get a new mouse!
