Gaming Internet Bandwith Usage

Well with my MMO i spend probably around 100megs and then online FPS games I spend about 1-2gigs depending on how often I play :)
 
And whos your ISP ?
I want to change mine , to SAOL they seem to have some good pricing .
15 gigs for R499.00 Unshaped with the out of bundle per meg the same as the in bundle.

Im with openweb im paying R199pm for 30gig unshapped however its local only with I think 1gig intl

I had a look at that deal but was wondering, with that 1gig international(OpenBrowse?), can you connect to international game servers with that (like guildwars and wow)?

yeh u shouldnt have a problem I connect to World of Kungfu without problems :)
 
a 3gig account is more than enough for all my online gaming. Then i have a other account for my downloading needs. I want to give the uncapped deal for R500 from DigiChilli a try, and see how that works out.

Anyone here on their uncapped yet?
 
I've got 2 pc's connected to my line.
I dont really download, its all youtube and gaming for me, The GF does the facebook and myspace thing, we use around 25GB a month average.

How many youtube videos do you watch?

Played 30hours of COD4, 60 Aion and over 250 games of Fifa 10 on xbox live, 3 500mb patch dowloads and the 3gb was not finished last month...All be it the COD4 was local server...
 
Roughly 8GB's HON is killing me lol.

I use my telkom 5GB than bounce around on my 6 x 30GB IS accounts from WA.
 
I have a 5GB package, and I usually use most of it up. This includes browsing, though, which uses up anything between 50-150MB per day. The rest is all gaming, mostly over Xbox Live. I download quite a bit of stuff from XBLA most months too.
 
I'm not quite sure actually. I hardly notice the dent MMO's make in my cap compared to what else I use bandwidth for on my PC.

WebAfrica have free online gaming, they are going to be hosting cod4, codwaw, HoN, CSs, quack, and more games following, just get their 10 gig local for R70 (price will probably drop soon) Free gameing for all internet packages
 
DigiChilli have uncapped 256Kbps for R500/month with no thresholds and they allow two concurrent connections :D

But I haven't tried them so I wouldn't know if they're a good ISP. I do know that they're new, however, so not many people would have.
