Gaming Laptop

I have also been looking to get a new PC and have been wondering what the price and spec comparison is between a Desktop PC and a Laptop.

Taking into account cooling, proformance, and value for money.

Desktop will always come out cheaper I'm pretty sure, if it is for your main home machine, I would say go Desktop.

I already have a decent desktop, need something for travel + work, all my previous laptops have not been able to really play anything, would rather spend a bit more now and have it last as well.

I had the same feeling that desktop would be better. Laptop would be more for travel. Seeing that by the mid of this year i will be going to USA its just been at the back of my mind of what would be better in the long run

What are you looking to play? Remember with gaming laptops, its not as easy as just sitting down and playing.
If you are playing a demanding game the charger has to be plugged in, otherwise the GPU does not run.
They also get hot AF, so a cooling pad will be required.
I had a beast MSI gaming laptop, was great and all. But when I did travel, I could not really game on it as I wanted to.

yea friend of mine fried his gaming laptop ( well i did not expect anything else from him as he just got a new one a few days later ). I dont understand how he did it but i would not want to get a laptop and then destroy it because of a overheating issue

Any details of where to look and the price?
