gaming mouse pads

Also there are rumors that for instance the R.A.T 9 skips over a dark/black surface, while on a white mousepad it works fine.

Yeah. With my mouse I find that it tends to jump erratically with a pattern underneath. Best to just have a plain solid colour pad or something.

On topic of gaming pads, the mouse you use will basicly affect 99.99999% of the preformance and any possible expensive pad will only be a fraction of the what still remains. The temperature of the room is more likely to have a bigger impact.

i have the R.A.T 7 and i have not experienced any issues like that with mine... the difference between the 7 and the 9 is simply that one is wired and one is not. So i cant see that a black mousepad will make it jump. I have the Taito gaming mouse pad btw.

Razer Goliathus Speed Edition!!

Awesome pad, and as before, once you try a pad, you will never go back.

There are plenty of guides out there on how to make your own gaming mouse pad. Supposedly baking paper is one of the best home substitutes for a gaming mouspead. I have a Roccat Sense Adrenalin Blue and it is very worth it. The colours are kind of dull though which sucks.

Had the same discussion a while back with some chaps.

Game mouse pads often help with consistency of movement (physical and the laser representation on screen), preserve your mouse feet and are a little comfy... so it is definitely worth getting one.

Whether it is worth a R450, i don't know... i could think of better ways to spend that. so just get a reasonable one for a reasonable price.
