No wonder women hate gaming. They can’t compete with it! A console will never nag. It’s always turned on when you want it to be. It’s compatible with all your friends. If it gets moody or doesn’t do what you want, you can easily trade it in for another one. If what it’s doing annoys you, it is easily fixable by popping in a different disc.

Although I have to wonder if finding time between gaming and spending time with your wife/girlfriend is really that difficult.

I don't live with my girlfriend so I dont really know.

my Bf and i just recently moved in together and its very difficult to find enough time to go out or spent time together or game. i tend to play more games than he does though.... we occasionally play COD online together

depends on how much dependence you have built up towards the games you play. I've been married for 6 years and lived with my wife for 4 years prior to our marriage when we started our family life changed and I couldn't spend as much time as I used to with gaming.

Now I generally try to keep it to 'after hours play' once we've had dinner and watched an episode or two and wife goes off to bed. I then will get about 1hr or so before I call it.

Then again I've had sessions that lasted so long, I though the birds I was hearing was atmospheric sound and not actual RL birds because it was dawn... :wtf:

Striking a balance is continuously challenging specially for the one gamer couples!
