Gears 3 beta feedback

I know most guys will start playing today (those with Bulletstorm Epic Edition) and some have already been playing. Do you lucky few mind sharing some info regarding the beta. Like how the latency holds up on the servers? Are the weapons the same/different? Does the game feel slower or faster? Please share any other information you might feel is important.

The dedicated servers are only switched on today, actually - all weekend, we used p2p. No lag. I know, it makes no sense. But there was no lag. Hilariously, people on the Epic forums were raving about how much better the game is with dedicated servers, because there's no lag, no host shotty... while not realising they were using p2p.

Will this game start to lag though when the millions eventually buy it when it's finally released?
