Gears 3 Console - anyone have any updates?

Hi all.

Has anyone heard if we are getting the Gears 3 LE 360 Console in ZA? I'm getting that sinking feeling. BT are saying they have not heard, and I don't see any of the other local sites advertising. It is getting to the 11th hour now with release being in September. Gees I was really hoping for good news on this. I see BT is stocking a Gears 3 console skin - which certainly isn't what I was hoping for. If anyone knows, please let me know.

Are you sure the Gears console you referring to isn't just a skin for the slim model xboxes? I'm sure I read somewhere that its a complete skin.
 
i checked it on amazon....... its beautiful! need to get delivery options for these things man! it works out to R2700 for GOW3 320GB console, game with 2 GOW3 controllers..... sadly i dont live in america, or have family there
 
you here they changing all the xboxes bck to a matte finnish, but the special editions like the GOW3 consoles will still be glossy, imho i don't really like the glossy finnishes, coz they hard to keep clean
