Black Tusk Studios, the first-party Microsoft developer currently working on the next entry in the Gears of War franchise, posted a teaser image of its motion capture set.
The photo, which surfaced in a tweet by Black Tusk's Jack Felling, showcases an actor holding one of the game's imposing firearms.
Little is known about the next installment in Microsoft's popular third-person shooter series aside from the fact that it may return to the series' darker roots.
Whether or not it will star series protagonist Marcus Fenix is still a mystery and, while fans have been holding out hope for a collection akin 343 Industries' did with Halo compilation, it doesn't appear Xbox One owners will be getting a Marcus Fenix collection anytime soon.
