Zapsonline is your closest bet. They don't stock the gadgets etc, but they have miscellaneous cool things.

Topic says 'Apparel'.. as in clothing. Or did i misinterpret something? :confused:

I was referring to Thinkgeek predominantly being a gadget store moreso than a T-shirt store. :o ZAPS is more focused on gaming oriented apparel, whereas TG is for the lulz, xkcd enthusiasts and meme's alike.
 
I know zaps has Ts, but it's just game Ts not nerdy or geeky like thinkgeek or j!nx :(. Maybe they could "start" a geek/nerd line, i'll ask...
 
If someone brought Thinkgeek shirts to South Africa, I'd buy them all! Maybe someone could open a shop that sells Thinkgeek products.

Why don't you just buy directly from Thinkgeek? The postage is expensive, but only if you are buying for yourself, get a bunch of friends together and do a bulk order and share the cost of the courier.

used the courier option, they send it with ups, you just have to pay ups for the duties/vat.
I ordered quite alot of stuff this last December and I remember the courier charges weren't to bad considering how much stuff got.
I think in region of around R600 + and duties around R300.... I think.

I'm Tazz. just happened upon your discussion (a lil late it seems,sorry). I am one of the owners of a small (and newish business),called Plushie Heaven. I have recently been researching into importing ThinkGeek products to sell,along side our other products. I have been researching into the viablilty of this idea. I've bought from ThinkGeek direct a couple times, stuff arrived fairly quickly and without too much duty.

Buy direct and save, I reckon.
 
I think that would be awesome option over just importing.
