General gaming chit chat.

So Microsoft is canceling Fable Legends and are probably going to close down Lionhead Studios :wtf:

Yeah I saw. I wonder why though. One would assume that a lot of work has gone into Fable Legends so it's a huge decision to just drop it.

Guess that means no more Black & White ever again. Can you imagine how cool a Black & White type game would work in VR?

Well, M$ closed down the studio behind Flight Simulator and Train Simulator again. And both titles have been picked up/bought/signed to other development houses.

So, what an unexpected issue I'm facing. I finally got a PC capable of playing games again, and I sat in front of my Steam library for over 30 minutes trying to figure out what to download and what to play... urgh I hate not knowing exactly what I want to play.

Start a thread! ;)

Also, I think it's mostly all mood dependant.

I finished Firewatch last night though.......and OH....MY......WORD!!!!!! What an experience.

Yeah I'll see maybe I'll create a thread and get the community to decide

Yeah, it's an amazing experience! I know it's not what a lot of people want and expect, but quite an experience none-the-less. Well worth the asking price in my opinion.

I hate playing an RPG, getting about well over 5 - 10 hours into a character, then realise you don't like the character you created. This has been the case with KoA. I'm finally comfortable with my character's appearance, but there's a bit I'm going to have to redo. Wish it were like Saints Row; changing your characters 'everything' or just making minor alterations...

That's one of many things I love about SR.

I don't get that attached to my characters in games. If you hate making custom characters, just play The Witcher. :)

So last night I was properly welcomed back to PC gaming, by struggling for about an hour trying to get a Hero Seige multiplayer working... What's PC gaming without actually struggling to play a simple bloody game.

Oh for sure, from drivers to BSoD to a simple peer-to-peer connection. Firewalls and routers, RAM and CPU tweaking... oh console peasants shall never know the issues we face, they just put in a disc and play.

Shame on them? I say shame on us!
