Use this thread for all general gaming related specials so we don't have to create a thread each time.

Yesterday was the Logitec Driving Force GT Steering wheel... Seems that Takealot is continuing with their impressive daily deals and today is the 320Gb Sony PS3 Console for R2699 (includes 3 games).

great idea, maybe we could include regions if it is not an online special, or even dates from and to?
 
Musica is having a gaming clearance sale. 2 PC games for R100, and 2 PS3 games for R350. I saw the add in the latest NAG. It started today and will carry on until June 26. Selected stores, in CT, JHB, KZN, and Pretoria.

I just checked the Musica special magazine. As I suspected, their prices aren't really good. For example, you can get GoW2 + Deus Ex: HR somewhere else for R70 cheaper. Musica aren't good at pricing their games. I remember the Brooklyn branch once had a sale and sold FIFA07 of R400...in 2012. I'd recommend double checking prices of games that you want at other places before you buy.

Their Blu Rays aren't bad though...
 
That's a really good deal, but I don't play enough racing games to justify a purchase like that, much less justify the space it's going to take up in my room.

Heck, I'd be surprised if anyone can justify the space that would waste. :p

Same here but it would be great for a bachelor pad where all the guys can meet for fun :D

If I weren't saving up my eBucks for a proper surround sound system, I'd buy one using that.

I think I saw that they can fold up so you can store it away in the corner and out of the way. Not sure if it is the same one though.

My bro actually made one himself a while back not sure if it could store away but it looked quite cool in red and black and he could probably design it to fold away like his Coffee cart he did :D.

I'm actually thinking of making one from wood. I just need to make a frame in order to hold the steering wheel and pedals so that I can sit on my existing comfy couch in front of the tv. At the moment, can easily connect it to my PC, but I have no way to set it up for my TV and GT5 is begging to be played with it.
I was just sick these last 2/3 weeks so maybe now I can take a look at it again.

He welded his together but wood should also work and probably will be cheaper wish I had a picture of his one to give ideas but its in storage.

This frame looks alright for you
