GFX/pc issues

Hmmmmm
Howsit guys, dunno if you can help me out on a problem ive been having with a 9800 gtx i got from axiz....
but what happens is that it starts glitching alot in the games, but benchmarks are fine.
Took it back, they said they found nothing wrong with the card because they just tested it with benchmarks
i Told them it only happens when playing games...
they said their policy does not allow them to install any games onto their system....
any suggestions? ohh yeah its a 9800 GTX by XFX
 
Update all your drivers.
Motherboard, sounds, network, GPU, everything.

Update the games in question.

Tone down the settings.
Some settings will cause older cards to freak out a little.
 
It could be a bios issue, check with the manufacturer of your motherboard match your bios version with later ones, and see if there was an issue with that.

Wheunis is also correct driver update could be an issue too.
