I've had a somewhat low level fear for pressure vessels, be that LPG gas bottles, truck tires, etc. I donnu, always been a bit nervous when driving past those trucks carrying a load of bottles or stopping next to a truck.

I've seen that one (remember the annoying speaker vibrating...would drive me insane in that car) and a ton more of them, I've sat for hours on youtube just watching those kinds of vids. There are those where they inflate big truck tires in protective cages....ffs. Also, they have this method of "seating" a tire by spraying something combustible inside, so when it catches fire, it expands and seats the tire on the rim....some of them obviously go wrong.

There is also a video of an Acetylene plant going up next to a highway, looked like smaller version of Baghdad in the early 1990's and 2000's.

Sorry, last off topic post (see what you did! :mad: :D ) , BLEVE's (Boiling Liquid Expanding Vapor Explosion) ...omw...not a really a true pressure vessel like the above, but turns into one


Also, if you dont know them, although not really a direct result of a pressure vessel explosion, look up Thermobaric weapons...
