It's a game that was supposed to be shooter-based MMO with a monthly subscription to access more content but it looks like
Global Agenda is now switching gears. Developer Hi-Rez Studios announced late on Thursday that the game will now be completely subscription free.
Instead the developer will release new optional expansion packs to the game for a one-time price per release. The developers have already released the first part of a previously released expansion, Sandstorm, and the remainder of Sandstorm's content will still be released for free to the game's players later this summer. Originally Global Agenda was to charge $12.99 per month for access to the game's Agency Vs Agency game modes, among other content. Now the AvA mode can be played without a subscription.
