Saw this yesterday on GOG.

HOW DOES GOG CONNECT WORK?

To connect your library with GOG.com, sign in to your active Steam account via this page. NOTE: Make sure your Steam Privacy Settings & Profile Status are set to public.

You'll be able to permanently import all the games listed below to your GOG.com library – assuming you own them. The eligible games are limited-time offers made possible by participating developers and publishers, so stay tuned for more games to come.

You can connect only one Steam account with your GOG.com library. This process is permanent – choose wisely!

That's pretty cool, so essentially you'll have DRM free copies of some of your games on Steam.

Just connected my account now:
YOUR ACCOUNTS ARE BEING CONNECTED
Due to exceedingly high demand this may take up to several days, please check back later. Thank you for your patience.

So we'll see what happens.

Yeah, same scenario... guess I'll check back in a couple days :p

7 games...though I cant get why they would do it, GOG is one of the good publishers, but in the end, they do what they do as a business. This mean a potential loss of sales, some ppl...not me, have duplicates on both sites due to some sales...

Ugh i forgot about this. Will hopefully check this weekend. I haven't used GOG in a very long time.

Nice one, I was hoping it would be the other way around , but hey 6 games over for me, mine worked instantly instantly

Got my email almost right away:

DISCOUNT – GOGCONNECT $ 149.88

I'll take me some DRM free games, but I have never found Steam intrusive anyway...

Very good point. I've been thinking how this would increase their turnover and, honestly, I'm still stumped. Apart from cementing their position as "The Go(g)od Guys" in digital retail I don't see this as a profitable move. But I said the same thing when they started out with the DRM-free thing, so what do I know?
