GPU Upgrade

I currently have a 9600gt so I am in desperate need of an upgrade which I'm going to be getting as soon as I get paid in a few days I guess...

I would like to get your opinions; going to be gaming for the present at a resolution of 1440x900.

Looking at the HD7850 which is a bit out of my price range so I would either have to find a good deal or go for something a tad cheaper.

If you need to go for something cheaper, the 7790 is being launched in a few days, awesome card, only thing is it is 128bit but it packs a good punch. Should retail around the R1600 mark.
Otherwise check out Powecolour 7850's they are cheaper compared to the rest of the 7850's

I had a look around it seems at the stores I looked at the difference in price is very minimal, with one store having the 7790 at a higher price that the 7850.
 
Save and get the 7850. At you res it'll offer some future proofing and its a really awesome card.
Try get the Powercolor 7850 from Wootware. R2099 + 2 free games.
