Gran Turismo 5 release date

read it will have body shops as well....I wonder if that means paintjobs and graphics etc. in a GT game. If it is....this game's gonna be perfect!
 
What makes you guys think they won't simply push this back again when the time comes? They've given so many dates before in the past and have never lived up their promises. I don't see why this time is any different.

They've only ever gave one release date and that was for Japan region, March 2010.
Sony put their head on the block so I doubt they'd wanna push it further back also they need GT5 to drive holiday sales.
 
I hope for their sake that they release this game on the promised time. I own both consoles and really couldn't be bothered by fanboys, and I can say in a completely unbiased way that Forza 3 has upped the bar a LOT and they've release so far ahead of time that I have tough time in believing that it can "reclaim" anything. Sure, to those who ONLY have PS3's they have to defend this delayed title to death, and those who only have XBOX 360's will bash it because they won't ever buy it anyways....but to those of us who have both consoles it's pretty clear that this won't bring anything new into your life if you've already played Forza 3. I'll still end up buying it because I appreciate the series...but I'm not going to expect it to surpass what I've played in Forza 3.
 
I'll buy this with no expectations and then be pleasantly surprised if it actually delivers something ground breaking.
Unfortunately Neo is right, They have waited to long with this and now Forza 3 is king of the Hill. It would take something incredibly special to take the crown back.

The polyphony team they tried to get too much out this title and im sure the sales vs development cost will never break even. On the other hand though this is going to be very good considering that the handling has been vastly improved over the prologue demo and getting close to 1000 highly detailed cars into a game is no easy feat.

Not getting ahead of myself ect. gonna wait for this..not sure how long..lol and then see whats what.
 
Think I'm going to buy myself one of them fancy little wheel things just for this game. Maybe it will prove to be good training for my 'dicing' tenancies on the road :D
