Graphics Card Needed

Hi All

Im looking at getting a new graphics card again.
Budgets not that high about R2000

The two options ive looked at are
GIGABYTE AMD Radeon R7 260X - 2048MB GDDR5, 128-Bit Memory Bus, PCI Express 3.0
&
GIGABYTE nVidia GeForce GTX650Ti - 2048MB GDDR5, 128-Bit Memory Bus, PCI Express 3.0.

What your thoughts and whats the best i can get for that price?
 
If I was you I would save a bit more and go for a r9 270. It costs more but you will actually save money in the long run because it will last much longer.

Looked at that its R300 more.. Is there a big differance between the two?

Haha thanks tho but thats what i have now and its not good enough hence looking for a new one.
 
Crashdan the R260X is a slight improvement over the 7790, rather see if you can get the 7850. The 1 gig version is faster than a 260x as the 7850 is a 256bit. Rather have more bits than more graphic memory.

I can vouch for this suggestion...a wider memory bus is better than more memory. Honestly you would be surprised at how little VRAM some games actually use even on high settings.
 
If you can wait, rather look at the R7 265, Its pretty much a rebranded 7850 with better cooling, lower power consumption and it should pretty cheap. If you don't want to wait I would say go for a 270, I know its a little bit more than you want to spend but the difference in performance will be noticeable.

In my experience you can never go wrong with Asus, so yeah that would be a cool card.

Yeah, that's a great card.

Good amount of memory and a good size bus.

I think that card has built in tweaking software if you ever want to OC it.

Not sure where you are going to get it today though. Most places don't keep stock. :(
 
So stock being an issue everywhere got a
SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 OC WITH BOOST
