Graphics Card Price ?

Hi all

My Buddy wants to buy a graphics Card this week and has R2000 to spend.
What can you recommend? It will just be used for gaming.

IF i was him id try and hold off fora bit see what the 660TI costs.


But if he has to spend now ill look at the 7850 or 7870 from AMD . And the 560TI from Nvidia

660TI will retail from around R3300.

7850 is the best card for that sort of money.
All of them clock upto 1150 on stock volts and at that speed they eat GTX580's.

The 660Ti is basically a tuned down version of the GTX670 hence the price.
Nvidia couldn't be bothered to make a bespoked card for the mid range guys anymore.
