Grim Dawn

Not sure if i should wait for the steam sale next week or just get it at full price. Getting a bit bored with PoE/D3.
Now is as good a time as any. The smart thing to do would probably be to wait for the sale, but this game is well worth the full asking price. Only started playing around with the Devotion system last night and it is awesome. Adds a whole other layer of customization to what is already a very deep game in terms if customization.

Got it now on the steam sale for R161. Only played for a hour but so far it's well worth the money.

Really happy about the instanced loot. That's the one thing I really dislike about POE

Yar that makes it a lot better, I need to update this and play again this holiday.

Sweet, Build 29 just started downloading.

Build 29: Grim Dawn is Content Complete!

It is with great excitement that we announce today the release of Build 29! With this major update, Grim Dawn has now become Feature and Content Complete! This is a tremendous milestone for the game and we are proud of the work that has gone into bringing it this far. We could not be more thrilled to share it with you.

What Content Complete means to you, the players, is that you now have full access to all of the game’s content, items and difficulty modes. Nothing is blocked off, no quests remain that cannot be completed. There is no cruel Clone of John Bourbon awaiting you at the end of the line to tell you that you must wait for the next update. Starting today, you have the full experience from start to finish.

With Build 29, the finale of the story is now accessible. You can venture into the Necropolis and thwart the vile plans of the Cult of Ch’thon as they seek to resurrect to resurrect the Herald of Ch'thon and usher in the end times. But that is not where things end. After defeating the final boss, you can restart the game on Elite and, eventually, on Ultimate difficulty, where the greatest challenges await. Also included in this update is our second Roguelike dungeon: the Bastion of Chaos. Only the bravest adventurers should seek out this pit of despair in the deepest reaches of the Void. Finally, with the level cap increased to 85, you have a chance to discover over 500 new Unique items, including Empowered Epics and over 240 pieces of Legendary tier equipment.

Looking to the future, Build 30 will be released in early 2016 and will include balance changes, bug fixes and polish to all aspects of the game as we prepare to take Grim Dawn out of Early Access around February.

We hope that you enjoy the update and wish you a Happy and Safe holiday season!

Best Xmas gift ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy for Crate that the game is finally content complete. Maybe now I will actually pay attention to the story. I'm planing to wipe all my characters and everything for the final release, but I'm thinking that maybe I should just do that now, since everything is complete and accessible.

What still needs to happen before it goes out of early access?
Pretty much just one more build (bug fixes, balancing and general polish) before the game will come out of early access in February.

I've been trying to play the whole freaking night. Since the update was installed it does not want to launch at all. I have tried EVERYTHING. Restart Steam, restart PC, verify game files, reinstall using Steam backup, delete savegames, using the game's repair.exe etc. As a final resort I deleted and redownloaded the whole game now. I also deleted all registry entries for good measure before download. Just updating gfx drivers now and then I'm going to try it again.

My game is finally working again. Seems the problem had something to with Visual C++ not installing correctly. Had to install all windows updates and reinstall Visual C++ 2015.

You know, the nerve of some people, you make a new years resolution to study more and play less....and what do certain ppl (looks Wlad), they gift you a copy of Grim Dawn... how diabolical can you get!

Again, thank you very much! The game has a special meaning to me, a friend passed away last year and he always raved about Titan Quest and was happy to hear about the making of the game.

VirtualForce. You are very welcome dude. I take pride in the fact that you will be spending less time on studying and more time on Grim Dawn as a result of me gifting it to you [emoji14].

Really sorry to hear about your friend man. Read the story now and I'm trying my best not to tear up. Hope the game can honour his memory for you.

Currently rolling a witchblade but I am thinking of changing AGAIN only problem is I am on lv23 atm so not keen on starting over again
Awesome man.

Lol, I have restarted so many times and tried so many builds I don't even care anymore. My main is currently a lvl 54 pure Shaman on the elite playthrough at the moment. I wiped apl my characters for the latest build except him. Also have a lvl 15 Saboteur for co-op and going to try a Shamn/Occultist dual class summoning build (also for coop) next. I also started another new character over the weekend: Soldier and Shaman hybrid focused on 2 handed weapons and lightning damage.

I bought Elite Dangerous Horizons, but haven't even gotten to try it out yet because this game is just so fucking addictive. It's insane.

Running with a conjurer currently but thinking of rolling an alt. It's fun watching your pets destroy everything in sight but gets boring after a while.

Man, Elite difficulty is quite the challenge. Think I should stick to Veteran for now and try to farm the 2 roguelike dungeons for better gear, but it's such a mission to craft a skeleton key every time. Luckily I have multiple characters so if I die to much I just switch.
