Growing out of Games

I don't really know about growing out of them, but I can say that there have been times that I've stopped playing for a number of months, because work and other more important commitments are keeping me busy.

So I don't think I will grow out of them completely. It's something I certainly enjoy, and will continue to do when I have the time.
 
I will only grow out when i die, im gonna teach my grand children a lesson when they like "Im best in the country" and i pwn their asses :D got it all planned out already :D
 
I will never grow out of gaming, it is a great source of entertainment for me since in don't read or watch much tv.
 
Hellno! I'll never grow out of it, But I may run out of money :(

I`ll just ask them when they will grow out of reading books, or watching TV. Many people have the misconception that games are toys.
I have a hard time seeing something like the Witcher or Dragon Age being meant for kids.
 
I will always game. But I do have time when there is no games to play but thats not growing out of it.
 
they'll have to remove my corpse from infront of the pc or tv, depending on where i played the last game :p
 
This is one of the BEST threads yet on this forum. Big UP to the creator!

I've been pondering this question for flippen YEARS now and so far the only hindrence that I've seen is women and children. Work never really gets in the way of gaming, but if you have a wife or girlfriend that doesn't understand how you feel about gaming, you're going downtown FAST. I've seen total game addicts literally being threatened with divorce if they don't give up gaming completely - and they end up doing it folks....cold turkey, no more gaming and they never play games again. Instead they sit on couches watching the travel channel with their wifes......we call them whipped....or also known as BORG.

For me however, I think I'll play games until I die one day, but I'll play to admire the technology, not because I'm addicted. I too have days going by without my PC or TV being switched on....but beware the person that tries to deny me the right to play games.

I SHALL KILL THEM.
 
My wife asked me once when i will stop playing games and grow up... My reply was the following: "i can always go to a streetcorner every night, get a hooker and party till 5am..." She likes that i play games... :)

great minds think alike... I usually tune her, i could've been out drinking, using drugs and shagging other girls...

or, and this is a big OR, you could be in bed shagging her*

*her being your wife, girl/boyfriend, life partner or roommate.
 
Oh hell there's no way I'm growing out of games! Good thing I bought another console then! :D
