I just saw it yesterday. got some excitment at first but then I saw a major disapointment. what a waste of a card but people will still end buying the card.

well It's made for the budget conscious in mind, so it's not all bad. Remember, this card costs less than CODMW2 for PC :p

Well this is nice for a media centre pc as it costs less then $50 and has an HDMI output and is capable of playing full 1080p video.

when will these arrive in SA? was considering getting an elcheapo for my media center, if these are cheap, I'd prefer to get it rather than 9x00 series cards

So do I, but that card runs too HOT! the GT210 is on the 40nm build as opposed to the 8800GT on the 65nm - ie. it will do the same at a much lower TDP = very VERY much cooler. So instead of a 70'C card running my movies and internet in the lounge, I can get a 40'C card doing the same.

plus with electricity going up ~50% the +50% power requirement reduction from 8800GT to GT210 will be welcome, very welcome.
