Any game with a replay editor gets me stuffen ridonkulously excited to the max!
Skate 3 and GTA IV have awesome replay editors, I've made full on short stories with them and have a had a good few laughs.
I cant wait to edit replays as Trevor! Oh my fraykin hats man!
I thought GTA IV was better on PC than console though, why is it getting flack?
It was about the same IMO. Better in the sense that it had better visuals and what not. It was just a buggy mess from day one and took many months to get it fixed. It still is today when people start modding the game it becomes unstable.

If it's anything like Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition then I am buying it day one.
When the F*** did gaming get so expensive :wtf:???
Anyway, I'm half and half about the game, I really want it and I've been waiting for the PC version, but I'm also wary now that it's here (I'll wait for some general impressions and reviews first, no pre-order from me). GTA IV on PC left me with a horrible taste in my mouth.
This is great news, already finished on PS3 but will double dip for PC and mods. Gta 4 was a bad port because it was ported by an external company. Max payne 3 was done by rockstar themselves so hopefully they do it again.
It amazes me how hung up people still are over the GTA IV port from seven years ago... Since then when we had Rockstar make a PC version (Max Payne 3) they did a superb job. We really need to get over GTA IV already.
Thought you could hide in this thread, did you? DENIED! I still say that you need to be careful with PC-anything with a Rockstar stamp on it. Learn from past experiences or get burnt twice. I know what I'm going to do. You keep comparing a relatively small game like Max Payne 3 to a huge and complex game like GTA. Stop that.
Hide? Who? What?
I can't remember the last PC came that came out and didn't have all manner of issues (even PC exclusives), par for the course I guess. I will agree that comparing an open world game with a linear one is erroneous.
I still have hope that this port will at least be semi decent, given how close the new console architectures are to PC now. Just trying to be an optimist I guess...
Dude, I agree 100% with you. I guess I'm just pessimistic because I was an early adopter for GTA 4 on PC and bliksem, did that ever annoy the heck out of me. I remember at the time I had a very strong PC and I couldn't even run the thing on Medium settings.
But, we should all try to be a little more positiveafter all, it's at least coming out on PC which is great news indeed!
I was actually thinking the "no PC" stance would last and we'd rather get news on a new Red Dead Redemption game....hmmm....
