You get those people who want to get everything in the game at the start.I prefer getting it through earning it in the game,makes it more challenging.
 
Personally, I found that using cheats destroys all the fun in a game. No challenge = no fun. I used cheats when I was a littl'un cause I really sucked at games and found that I didn't learn anything and quickly got bored. I haven't used cheats since.

The last time I used cheats was for Tomb Raider 2,when I was stuck in venice,just to skip that area oh and to get all the guns.I was like 11 yrs old I think,lol.
