GTA V for PC is delayed... again

I am actually super thrilled with the delay! Funds are tight at the moment so this gives me more time to save up. Plus I got about a million games on backlog that I wanted to try and clear up first.
 
TBH, I don't know many PCMR members who are actually still keen for this game. I think many are in the "I'll wait until it's $5" category. I think that's what the bloke in the Disqus comments below the article doesn't get. PC gamers don't really care about this game landing so late because there's really not much hype for it. We've had plenty to play in the mean time.
 
I can wait. Honestly a delayed game that is released as close to complete as possible, (barring the eventual day one dlc and month of patches that is sadly commonplace these. But I digress), is far preferable to a game that will undergo this rigamaro anyway but is farther away from completion.

Really, really over this game now. I was thinking of getting it on Steam, but actually just going to wait for it to be on a -90% sale. Which will probably be in 2 - 3 years from now. There's better games out there anyway.

Agreed.

Played it on PS4, was pretty ok but I really wanted it on PC, but eh R* doesn't give a crap about pc gamers.
The game is what 2 years old already...lol Yeah GG
 
Bitter sweet news... wasn't going to be able to play it on day one if it came out on 24 March.
Hope they really are fixing stuff during the delay, else mad rage :mad:

Ja nee fok man- this game is OLD already. My irritation with Rockstar is not resentment, but rather just a "WTF were you thinking?!". Giving out my money for a game I was once excited for, 2 years later, is definitely not going to happen. Let's make it 6 ;).

lol They have to sell as many console copies as possible, you know it nets them more cash.
Also guys saying this is for the good of the game and the polish ect...yeah less than a month delay to fix bugs and polish..LOL

Yip, this is probably the biggest cash milk I have ever seen in the history of PC gaming. Even worse than COD! Although, come to think of it- the one's worse than the other. Sigh. Yet another reason to go Indie :D

couldn't agree more. think they just trying to push for more pre order as they no most pc gamers will pirate it. as most already own a copy for there console.
 
GTA V is nothing mind blowing I own it on PS4 and it's very much like IV just with a lot more polish and better graphics, granted I do enjoy it but other games are taking up my time at the point in time.

Sad part is that even though it's delayed, it will out sell Call of Duty on launch day.
 
If this was Ubisoft or EA they would have released it last month and it still wouldn't be running properly.

Rather let them make a solid port.
 
I'm not too phased by them pushing it back again.

It looks like they're ironing out as many bugs as possible and polishing up the game as best they can.

I own it on PS3 so I can still play the game - I'm just preordering for first person and improved graphics.
