glad you added "main" in there, as some of the PSP games, which eventually made their way to PS2, never made it to PC. these were not numbered titles, but if they make it to PS2 it is close to being a main title. i do get what you mean though ;)

Hah yeah, I generally don't care about the mobile versions anyway.
 
If I can get a game on PC rather than on console,I'll take PC as getting DLC won't be a problem and whatever add-on to the game.Plus it's cheaper.
 
PC. Hopefully it will have mod support as well when it arrives.

I prefer PC as I don't get a lot of time to use my PS3. My SO uses it as media player most of the time :p
 
i suspected more PC than individual consoles, and i think the poll closed just before the nVIDIA slip, which would probably have pushed PC even more.

thanks guys! you made my choice not much clearer at all. i decided to go with the platform that see most action in myhouse, and thus has more friends likely to buy it. XBOX!

Then i think you need to ask your mates. :P I'm fairly certain there xbox and ps3 will both be covered in this forum.
 
Will get it on PS3 myself, won't be able to wait for a possible PC version. If the PC version does get released, then I'll buy it again :D

Aye...I'll be "double-dipping" myself only because I'm just too much of a sucker for GTA. Now let's just hope they don't screw up with the pre-orders again this time like they did with GTA IV.
 
I'll get it on the XBOX360. GTA IV has some framerate issues on the PS3 and it was probably caused by the complexity of coding for that stupid architecture on the PS3. I believe that the XBOX360 version might be slightly less buggy this time as well.

See thats the problem, i was referring to the fact that they started with the original GTA in like 1996/97 for PC. Excluding PC was a huge mistake on their part. I have 5 people wanting to come back because of the content and its forced to console?

GTA 1 probably did better on the PSone as well. :p

I guess im just scared the Shitsole developers like this will forget about us PC consumers.

I have a meme for it but i CBA to find it now.
 
I'll say again:

Designed/Created on the PC, for the Console -- until badly ported to PC at a later stage.
 
The Xbox 360 version will be the better one to play on, although the PS3 shouldn't have too many hiccups. Next-gen and PC is where it's going to be at, if anyone's that patient.

Just a friendly reminder to all Xbox owners who are getting GTA 5 next week - the game WILL require an 8GB install, so make sure you have enough space on either a HDD, or get yourself a 16GB flash drive. 8GB flash drives will not work, as you require EXACTLY 8GB of space, and an 8GB flash drive only has about 7.2GB or something to give...
