GTA V - where will you play it?

Just a friendly reminder to all Xbox owners who are getting GTA 5 next week - the game WILL require an 8GB install, so make sure you have enough space on either a HDD, or get yourself a 16GB flash drive. 8GB flash drives will not work, as you require EXACTLY 8GB of space, and an 8GB flash drive only has about 7.2GB or something to give...

Wait, you mean you can get an XBox without a HDD?
lol j/k :P

My first xbox came without a HDD. Had to go and buy one almost immediately to get any use out of it.

R1000 for a 20GB HDD:mad:

Yoh, that's a bit hectic :(

I was lucky to get a 60GB HDD for free from a friend for the 2nd hand Xbox 360 that I bought :D

Eugene! My brother! I thought I was the only oke to drop R1000.00 on a 20 gig HDD for xbox, I still skop myself when I think about it. shocker.

My trusty Xbox has been with me for 7 years, in which I've never had an extra HDD. I've always had a 32Gb flash drive. The Xbox HDD was way too expensive for me at the time.

When I got mine there were no other options. It's was the original Xbox 360 Core Edition.

Just outa curiosity, is GTA-V gonna be cross platform?
ie. xbox and ps3 on the same "online" experience?

I have really loved the GTA franchise and don't want to pass this up. Problem is I am a PC gamer (majority) and casual Xbox player. I have tried FPS games on Xbox and just can't grasp the concept, thus I stick mainly to my sports games and things like Forza. To used to keyboard/mouse aiming I guess.
I actually went and bought Gears of War because I heard such great things about it, granted it seems interesting, but I went and gave it away after 2hours gameplay, just because I sucked that badly at the whole aiming thing.

Now do I get GTA-V and just persevere until I am able to learn to aim/shoot with the different sticks, or pass this up?
(this is my biggest hold up about getting this title)

When I read there was a next-gen version of this game rumored in the pipeline, I immediately suspected that ALL of the footage we've seen so far has been rendered on hardware far more powerful than the current PS3 or XBOX-360. This article seems to confirm that:

If that's the case, I won't be buying GTA 5 next week. I'd rather wait for my PS4 and play the game that was advertised, instead of some watered-down version.

Here's a graphics comparison between the PS3 and XBOX 360 (although it may be down by the time you see this)

I again don't want to go back to mouse and kb.

I love playing with the controller, I find it much more comfortable than hunching over a kb.

Yes, the review embargo will be lifted 4PM our time tomorrow.

Here is a great video with the history of GTA:

It really has blown into one of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world.
