GTAV Steam version physical purchase

Is it at all possible to purchase a version of GTAV for Steam that is a physical copy?

My internet is slow and will take AGES to download.

Nope, the only way to get the Steam version is to buy through Steam, unfortunately.

Im sure if you ask nicely, someone on the forum with gtaV who lives in your area can throw a flashdisk at you? Won't hurt to ask, anyway

I think I just kinda like having a lot of my games on Steam.

Can't remember exactly, but it was HUGE, something like 40GB IIRC.

Besides, the physical copy will work out a lot cheaper than the Steam version.

I made a backup before uninstalling GTA V over a month back; my folder size was around 60+ GB - and with the latest patch; you should see another 500+ MB of an update (including its patch) as well.

I'll make doubly sure when I access my PC again.

I think [MENTION=12607]mottamort[/MENTION]'s got the best idea. Get somebody you know that owns it on steam already to copy it on an external and then purchase it from steam. Copy the data files into you steam folder and the steam client will recognize that files are already there. Totally legal as well.
