I've been having problems with system and I'm fairly certian that my GPU is broken. My basic specs are:
Intel i5 750
Intel Tom Cove H55 mobo
500w psu
Gtx 560 Ti OC
I have a budget of R2000 +/-. The reason of this post is as the title suggests is this: http://www.rebeltech.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=21&products_id=7789 a good idea? Ive also looked at the HD 7770 but it seems that the 650 is a better choice from what I've read online. Also what I would like to know is, would my PSU be able to handle it?

Well tbh R2000 is actually already pushing it and if I were to save up more it would take a while and currently my pc is in non-working(on my sister's laptop atm) order, and I'm really not too excited to have to wait much longer. Although if this card is really that much better than the 650 and 7770 then I think I would go for it. I would ask you then which nvidia card would you compare it to?(I am actually completely clueless when it comes to AMD cards which I think gives me a very serious lack of perspective, which is why I decided to get others' opinion first.

The 7850 is in a different league compared to the above mentioned cards. As for a Nvidia card, I would say the 650TI Boost but it has to be a boost card and even then I would still take a 7850 over it.

Honestly its worth saving the extra cash for the 7850.

Ok well thanks for the help I think I will go with the powercolor card from wootware that you mentioned above.

Good choice :) The Boost cards are nice, but they're still overpriced. The alternative if you can't go over R2000 is the HD7790, but I second Joker's recommendation.

Can't you sell the 560ti to fund it? A 650ti is not going to be a noticeable upgrade from that. You'll get a smattering of fps at most, and will waste a lot of money in the process. Rather save for something that bumps you up by a bare minimum of 15%.

Oh I didn't notice that. What's wrong with it? If it's newish and still untampered you can probably RMA it.

Only had one year warranty, (would have had lifetime but only if I registered in the first 90 days which I sort of only saw on day 91).
