GTX465 1GB or HD6950 1GB

Hi All,

I currently have a MSI GTX465 1GB GPU. A friend of mine has upgraded his GPU and has offered me to swap him for his old GPU (Radeon HD6950 1GB)

Would anyone recommend going for the HD6950 instead of keeping the GTX465?
 
the 6950 is a good swop.. You can easily get a aftermarket cooler for about R500 odd and then flash the bios to a 6970 .. Expect about 20% + Performance increase
 
If I were you id bench that card at your mates place in your mates pc to see it doesnt fail.. The deal simply sounds too good to be true.
 
My mate gave me the card last night to test and to see if I want to trade it.. I have the card in my pc and I have been testing it since last night. The card seems perfect. I even did 3d Benchmark.
 
that is perfect then. I dont trust people with swap outs .. not even my mates. So its better to test if thoroughly :D
