GTX560 Ti Help please

Wrong graphics card... he is referring to the card ranked number 10 on that comparison (hence the expensive price).

Was referring to his current graphics card, the 460. Sure he'll get a performance gain from upgrading to the 560 GTX Ti, but is that performance gain enough to warrant the price tag? How much would he get from selling the 460?

Not sure if upgrading from the GTX460 would be totally worth it atm. I just ordered a Radeon HD 6790 (R1600) which is basically the equivalent of your card. So it's not totally out of date yet.
It is kind of a forced upgrade. Selling a Radeon card which I cant use in my old pc (PSU too small) and giving the GTX460 to a buddy in exchange for his 9800GT (for my wifes pc) and R800. Then I need to get a new card with the money I got. and ofcourse it won't be worth buying another GTX460 when I can get something from the new series.

I have this one: MSI TwinFrozrII OC GTX560 Ti 1GB - 870mhz core 2 years warranty
Well, two of them actually in SLI now. It is standard overclocked or something plus you get software that just lets you slide to where you want to overclock it. I used to look at the performance comparisons between the different brands before I bought my card and I think the MSI was one of the top GTX560TI cards of all the brands. Perhaps do a google search just to confirm.

I never find proper reviews comparing the same gpu from different brands. It's always Nvidia vs ATI.

PS. They basically advertise that the card is so overclockable. Does that mean your warranty is not void if you overclock now. Cause it used to be void as soon as you Overclock

That makes sense.

A quick search revealed this:

It seems I was wrong about MSI being better seeing that Sparkle outperforms them all. Got fooled somewhere along the way. Should probably retract my previous statement, although, the MSI card is the only one I can vouch for since that's the only cards I have.

I'm not sure about the overclocking and warranty since MSI provide the overclocking software as part as the driver installation (MSI Afterburner).

ViperGTI - I just got the latest price and the normal GTX560Ti TwinFrozr II OC's price shot throught the roof. It costs R3150 now. R650 more that last week. And they dont have the HAWK on the list, meaning they don't have stock.

I also checked some charts today and surprisingly the Radeon 6790 in Crossfire gives 20 FPS more for an extra R200.
Don't know if I should go that route? But then I'm again coming close to the R3000 mark.

Well I'm running 2x MSI GTX570 twin frozr III power edition and I can say it's a beast. overclocked to 786 core 1572 shader and 2100MHz on memory and never going over 70C so that is good.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I'm also looking for some help with the GTTX560 Ti. I'm also looking to get one, but I'm currently using a 350w kak PSU. Any recommendations on wattage and brand? I'm guessing anywhere above 500w will be good?
Apparently amazon.com/gp/product/B001EZMEZO/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=gamingsquid-20&linkCode=as2&camp=217145&creative=399369&creativeASIN=B001EZMEZO zachowek is supposed to be top of the line and is very highly rated.
Thoughts?

Hey Hraffnir. The recommended psu for the 560Ti is 450W.
I ran the GTX460 on a 550W ( 450W output) psu and it gave no problems.
I recently upgraded my psu to the Coolermaster Extreme Power 700W which only cost me like R700.
