Got it off an old NAG dvd (December 2009) but doing a quick google I found a link for the download on the Remedy Games website.

In this game you have a dog companion, which you can ask to fetch items that are unreachable to the main character. The dog will also attack the enemy to give you a chance to escape and hide.

Its not any Silent Hill or Resident Evil

I didn't play it unfortunately but a friend of mine did, he loves survival horror so he will try them all, I liked the concept of it though with the dog following you around after you rescued it.

It is quiet, I think I've got two of those, the first one is a Spiderman game with Venom in it, so it's one of two possibilities Maximum Carnage and Separate Anxiety? The second is Boogerman which was an odd game, I miss the old Megadrive days. The third looks like it's Playstation or Saturn game that I have no clue.
