Guess the Game

You can play Zork from within Black ops :)

Maybe someone can help me...I played a game at the local cafe (before they exchanged it for street fighter 2) and can't find any information about this game ANYWHERE!

It's a side scrolling platformer. You play as a little yellow bird thing. The intro involves a walrus capturing your family in a net and as he walks away you fall out the net. Thats about all I can remember :o

Oh, and the second level boss is a big fish. You're inside the fish shooting the roof of its stomach while avoiding water/acid drops falling from the roof.

Another thing I remember is that you couldn't stand still and waste time, otherwise something invulnerable chases and kills you.

Does this ring a bell to anyone?

Not a clue. There were plenty odd arcade games around though, and that sounds pretty odd

I meant red alert 2 was my favourite. xD Though I did play Global Ops single player a few times.

In fact, I bet I could dust off my old RA2 cd's, and beat just about any of you(I know its a bold claim, but I remember playing both sides several times over and then played every map and all the classes in skirmish over and over again, everytime I had a holiday.)

I went and asked my mom what it was, but I couldn't say prophylactic either, so she said she'd come with me to the computer, saw what I was attempting to play and killed herself laughing.
 
I remember playing XWing vs TieFighter on my first PC, with my first 2 button joystick. *sniff*

Nostalgia.. Thanks for bringing back the memories!
 
OT/ since we just had this great space flight sim game named...when will they create another one that is better than the useless stuff these days? Last great space sim I played was Wing Commander 5: Prophecy :( Anyone have any good space game recommendations?
 
Freespace 2 from 1999 was far better then Wing Commander Prophecy, you could also look at Darkstar One for now.

Posted this game on a few other forums with Guess the Game threads and so far no one's been able to guess the game below. Hopefully someone here will re-assure me that I'm not the only person on the planet who played and enjoyed it :P
