Hehe, I had a bug where if you get into the catacombs, you had to push this one switch, this was about 10 hours into the game, and the bug caused the button to be out of reach. Some time later I found a cheat ( bear in mind this was in the days of 28KBPS USRobotics modems back in 1994 and 1995)
With which you could move the player anyplace onscreen. SO I could move the guy closer to the switch and then pull it :P

That was master of magic. Like civilization, but with a fantasy setting.

Great part of the game was when you think you finally took over the world you could teleport to the draconian world where the draconian race had a world all to themselves all along to build a formidable civ.

Well yes bit also you would eat food for stamina and the scrolls would show you what runes you need to use for diff spell.

sounds familiar... do you fight monsters with an increasing level of difficulty, which gives you experience which eventually leads to better abilities of your own character?
