Guess the Game

Weren't golden china consoles just Nintendo rip offs? Pretty sure I had one, and it just played Nintendo 8bit games.

Have no idea... That was all we could afford back then and I didn't really care about brands or games... All I knew that existed was Golden China and Sega which was pretty much top of the range as far as I knew. (It played Mortal Kombat)

The NES was never released in South Africa, everything we had here were rip offs.

Man I used to be really into Dolphin; more for Gamecube than Wii actually. You get full hd graphics bumps on those games. I got out of it though a few years back but there's some Wii games I've been wanting to play like specifically Zelda Skyward Sword. Maybe I should pick up a Wii with Plus and hook it to my TV and play it on Dolphin...

You can get Mortal Kombat on Steam, no need to emulate it.

I saw the thread just after typing it, but is it free that is the question :p

The Wii was the first Nintendo console that was officially sold in SA. Anything else you had to import yourself.

I got the Gameboy Black & White in 1998 and the Gamewatch ones way earlier than that so isnt the only nintendo console not to mention Gameboy Colour one too.

actually its the gamecube, game and hifi corp sold consoles, games and accessories

I always bought mine from Reggies in the middle of town like 15 years back
