I find it difficult to like something for extended periods of time, I could enjoy it for a while but it's pleasure will eventually lessen.

There is simply no food I've eaten that beats my mother's and aunts' foods.

I absolutely hate beer. Can't stand the taste and I have tried a lot of them. Last year August we went to Germany for Gamescom and I had a beer there called Maisel's Weisse. Was not half bad. Had a sweet fruity aftertaste and it was cheaper than a glass of water or can of coke, for a 640ml :D

I'd actually buy some if I saw it somewhere in SA.

You sure it wasn't a cider? I'm obliged to drink Castle everytime I go to my alcoholic friend. Drunk = nice. Taste = Megh
