I'm pretty sure that's against their terms and conditions. It's super scaly either way.

Unless you did a pre-purchase, and got into all the BWE's, your CD key is all you getting so you got to DL the client before launch or borrow a DVD from someone.
 
How long will the pre-purchase option on the GW2 site last? The one that gets you 3 days head start?
 
guys, quick, noob question here, but if i pre-order from TAKEALOT, will they send me my code so i may pre-download now or must i wait for the physical box?

i want to use takealot cause they offer Ebucks payment, which is awesome!!! :)

The GF bought Pre-order from Takealot. She received her pre-order key for the 1 day early access over the weekend(she can dl it now) and then that is active for 2 days until after release. Once she gets the retail box she needs to activate that key as well. Confusing as hell but I have always used Takealot for most of my purchases.

I preordered with BTGames but havent received my early access key yet, so hopefully I get it before game releases.
 
Dammit! Does nobody INSIDE SA offer the pre-PURCHASE option with 3 days early access?!?!

I'm getting so pivved at this whole backwards-ass country I'ma do something REALLY bad!

It's all sold out months ago, it was a limited offer. Only 1 day head start now.

Last resort: https://buy.guildwars2.com/en-gb/ a little pricey but if you really want that 3 days head start, this would also require you to download 20+ GB's before Saturday morning.

Like Glordit said, it's been sold out for ages; your tardiness has nothing the do with the backward-ass-ness of the country.

Also, if you come near my Frito's, I will cut you.

Well... you have to download that anyway if you want to make use of the 1 day early access as well.
Was fighting with both Takealot and BT yesterday on the phone.
They are not allowed by embargo to let you receive the game pre-28th.
You will receive the game on the 28th, early access or not...

Guess I will just hunt down a completed download here in Nelspruit so long...
 
Mailed BT a while ago about the early access story, they informed me that the physical box has to be picked up on the 28th, but an early access code will be mailed before hand.
 
The three day head start is SOLD OUT, locally. I has been sold out for 4 months

The only options left are:
Buy it from the Guild wars website.

Do a pre order and get a 1 day head start, from BT, Take2 etc. Note, that they will email you the 1 day head start key, which will expire a day or two after launch.

Problem is, 1 day head start means nothing if you cant download the entire client in-time to make use of the head start...
Head start or not, you will only receive your game on the 28th. THAT's what is peeving me off so badly.

I would LOVE to see my 384k do 20GB+ in 6 days...
 
Still trying to find out from Zaps on what's happening this week as I'm pretty sure I've ordered a Pre-purchase version, but no response so far. :/

same it been over 10 days now and i havnt gotten any sms,email or phone call, kinda making me very depressing now :( just worry pre order isnt loaded on the system or whatever
