Guild Wars 2

looking forward to getting the collectors edition to go with the others.
everytime I hear about or speak about gws 2 now I want to go back and replay the first lot to make sure have all the titles and everything updated in the monument.
 
Haha I must be the only weirdo who did not find much to love about GW1. But GW2 on the other hand IS looking pretty fantastic!

Will also be getting the Collectors Edition. I usually think buying Collectors Edition games is a waste of cash, but for MMO's it is often very useful longterm (as long as I get some nice ingame items I am happy).

looking at the weapons the ranger can use... i see no mention of them using the rifle...

oh well
 
Yeah that was interesting, maybe we'll see a more steampunkish ranged class that will use firearms as their main weapon. A rifle really doesn't fit with the whole ranger theme too techy.
 
Probably mentioned this before, but really dislike the "talking" in the combat previews. Like say some crappy line after you killed someone lol. Going to try SW:TOR rather, I really utterly despised Aion, and GW2 might just have the same feel to it anyway.
 
Aion and GW2 are as far apart as Aion and Guildwars 1 were. Aion has more in common with WoW than it has with either of the Guildwars games.

So ... same feel ... absolutely doubt it. It doesn't even have the same development team behind it.

I still don't like the "THAT'LL TEACH YOU!!!" kind of auto char speaking in the game lol.
 
you will be able to turn that chatter off in the final game.

it was confirmed in one of the interviews
