Guild Wars 2

Anybody know if the issue with party members being placed in different overflow worlds and unable to join each other (ie. the "Join in..." button doesn't work) has been fixed?

the fact that you could actually play on launch night is just amazing, they have done a fantastic job so far.
A few niggly things that need to be fixed but nothing that effects game play.

After suffering from severe mmo burn out for about 2 years, they have made this game so enjoyable to play without putting in the most basic typical mmo game play style. Subtle changes to weapons with skills, the mail system being available everywhere, the way quests are structured - they are all dynamic so it all a fluid motion of progressing and being able to just get on with them without running back and forth between npc's. Different ways to complete areas, and exploring is fun, it's interesting - the area's are different and you are interested to see what dynamic event is going to appear to help with. All this and without even touching on the main story arc.

They have made this game so brilliantly and a very smooth player experience. Hectically impressed!

I will consider the game complete when:
I have 8 lvl 80 chars of each class.
Explored 100% of the map with all 8.
Get lvl 400 in every type of crafting with all 8.
100% achivements on all 8.

So you'll be buying extra character slots then? :)

It's a major MMO release with an almost painless patching process, I don't see how that is really a bad thing. Rather get a new patch every day than wait weeks for them to fix bugs.

Completely playable, but there are still issues that need to be fixed, but nothing that will make the experience terrible.

True. I'd rather get a small patch daily, than a huge patch after a month...

Manual search, and select the folder wherein GW2 is stored, as apposed to searching for the executable. I took a chance, and that method worked.

Will try that again thanks.
Edit: Nope. It doesn't detect it when I start the game :/
